Also, this document is always changing, new things are added, old things are taken away. I did not write this document for people that have no friggin clue what an IP address is. This is a technical subject therefore it is a technical document. If you don't want to learn about routers or you don't care about NAT or any of that gibberish, then go ahead to CompUSA and but a Linksys router.

This document is intended for people looking to use Linux to keep their network connection safe. This document assumes that you know what an IP address is, what a MAC address is and what network cards are.
