What follows is a list of projects and (hopefully) a series
of howtos on some really strange stuff. Feel free to do whatever you want
to to these documents, print them, print them and use them for toilet
paper, kindling, use them, copy them, etc. I would like it if you would link to my site if you do find this info useful.
1. NEW!Add a real lasersight to Nerf Nitefinder The Nerf Nitefinder comes stock with a pretty lame light sight. After a few minutes of messing around and shooting the cats, we decided that a real lasersight was in order. Here's the steps to do it!
2: NEW!Modify the Nerf Maverick to pop-out it's revolving chamber like a real revolver The Nerf Maverick is a cool design, but of course I can do better. :) Here's a step-by-step walkthrough to modifying the revolver to pop it's cartridge out like a real revolver.
2. Treo 600 Cradle / Charger hack Hack a Treo 600 cradle to charge through the USB port.
3. MP3 Controller Driving around listening to MP3s is typically a hassle for those of us that can't afford an ipod or other MP3 player. Learn how to make your own handheld controller for your laptop or desktop that will help you keep the eyes on the road.
4.Fixing the Asteroids Deluxe arcade game Remember the good ol' game of Asteroids Deluxe (circa 1980-1985?). Well I found one out back and here's what I did step-by-step to fix it.
5.Hacking the Netpliance iOpener Compilation of information for a successful hack of the Netpliance Iopener. This document covers from start to finish what is needed to add a hard drive and other peripherials to this neat little computer.
6. Hacking the MSN Companion by eMachines I bought one of these little boxes at a First Saturday computer show in Dallas. Since then I have been trying like all hell to get it working without the MSN crap
7. The DNS router How-To v2.0 This is a step-by-step (almost) comprehensive guide to transforming a basic Linux computer into a NAT router using free apps and other goodies. This is the highly acclaimed How-to that I have referred people to ever since my first router's construction. Check it out and tell me what you think!
8. ASF Removal utility package: Fed up with all the popups from that ASF movie you downloaded? This utility will take you step-by-step through the process of "neutering" these plagued media files.
